Bus Trip to the Chinese Garden of Friendship. Get out of the Village for the day and enjoy a trip to the enchanting Chinese Gardens in the heart of Chinatown. Explore the gardens followed by a bite to eat in Chinatown.

We will be traveling for a day trip to see spring in the Southern Highlands, which boasts a spectacular display of tulips at the annual Tulip Time Festival at Corbett Gardens, Bowral.

A rep from My Aged Care will be coming to the Bondi Astra to discuss their services and how they may benefit residents.

As avid animal lovers, we will be holding a Cupcake Day event to raise awareness and fundraise for the RSPCA! It is not limited to just cupcakes you can bake or bring whatever you like!

A representative from INS LifeGuard will be attending the village for a presentation on the emergency call system. The presentation will include the features and benefits of the system and the services provided.

Back by popular demand, the Men’s Shed Chorale will visit the Astra and serenade the residents and their guests on the last Friday of winter.

A group of us will travel to the Auburn Botanical Gardens to enjoy the picturesque cherry blossom festival and indulge in Japanese food, drinks and entertainment! There will even be a special guest appearance from Hello Kitty who is celebrating her 50th birthday!

Come to the lounge at 11.00 am for a presentation by Hello World Travel. They will be presenting some travel ideas. Morning tea and refreshments will be provided.

After a successful two weeks of fun and games, it’s time for the official medal ceremony. The residents committee will present the gold, silver and bronze medals to the winning team and individuals. Residents are encouraged to come along, grab a glass of champs and join in the fun!
