We had to reschedule our Bowling Day trip, so here it is at last! We will head over to Moore Park for a couple of games of 10 pin bowling in the Entertainment Quarter. Family and friends are very welcome to join us. The cost for the bowling will be $20, and we will have lunch afterwards in the area.

It was Bowling Day in August, so to commemorate this fact Astra residents will be taking a trip to have a couple of games of 10 pin bowling in the Entertainment Quarter. It’s time to dust off your bat and get your game face on, with the start of our table tennis competition. Anyone can enter, with any level of ability, so why not give it a go? The more the merrier so join in and have a laugh with us over a friendly game of ping pong.

It’s back! Astra footy tipping season begins once more, so place your bets now folks. Each week each competitor pays $2 for their tips, and at the end of the season the winner takes all. The more the merrier, so please do join in with us to make 2019 the biggest and best year yet…

It’s that time again! Yes, it’s the race that stops the nation…and this year we will be stopping to appreciate the event in all its glory with food and drinks and watching the build-up in the lounge from 1pm. We will have an array of salads, sausages, chicken and desserts, as well as wine and soft drinks all for the amazing price of $10.

Starting at 1pm in the courtyard we will have a BBQ and then watch the race on the big screen in the lounge. Price is $10 and includes meat, salads and soft drinks. Bring money for sweeps and prepare to have fun! There is a sign up sheet in the office for anyone wanting to come - please let us know soon as we need to know numbers for catering purposes.
