May the 4th be with you…! Today is the exciting event that is International Star Wars Day, due exclusively to that excellent pun. We decided we would have an afternoon dedicated to all things Star Wars, including watching the movie that started all the fuss; A New Hope. Come along to learn if you are strong with the force, meet Han, Luke and Leia, and feel the thrill of hearing that lightsaber turn on for the very first time!

UPDATE: Due to COVID-19 health concerns this event has been changed. Unfortunately, we will not be watching the movie (though we do encourage everyone to watch their favourite movies from the franchise today in their own homes). Instead we have put up some Star Wars decorations in the village, and there are some interesting facts about Star Wars for residents to pick up from the foyer. We would also like to collect stories and memories of Star Wars from our community - send them to sales@bbarv.com.au and we will post them on the blog.
