In our final technology workshop of the year we will be looking at how to use Skype, WhatsApp, FaceTime and other resources to keep in touch with family and friends online. There are so many ways of keeping in touch to choose from these days, so we will explain a bit about the main ones and how they work. Many of these companies allow you to talk for free to other people with the same technology, so it’s a great tool for people who have friends and family all over the country or all over the world.

We will have our usual morning cup of tea before the session gets underway, and then we will break in time for lunch. As always, anyone is welcome, and if you wish to get familiar with how you can use specific apps please bring your devices down with you.
