The frocks were on, fascinators were fascinating, and champagne flowed at our annual Melbourne Cup lunch. Despite the lift works taking place a group of us mustered into the lounge for a bite to eat and a punt on the ponies. The day's big winner was Lore (and a Knights Choice!), who took out first place in the $5 and $2 sweeps. Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to everyone who came along and made the day a special occasion.
